The Hashimoto-Torii and Torii Research Team is comprised of the laboratories of Dr. Kazue Hashimoto-Torii and Dr. Masaaki Torii. The research team is a part of the Center for Neuroscience Research at Children’s Research Institute (CRI) at Children’s National Medical Center. Our team is composed of molecular biologists and electrophysiologists attempting to understand how harmful environments alter development of the fetal brain.
Both Dr. Hashimoto-Torii and Dr. Torii are assistant professors in the Department of Pediatrics, Pharmacology and Physiology, at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. They are also adjunct faculty members of the Neuroscience & Cognitive Science Program (NACS) at the University of Maryland, College Park.
